Why can't she sleep?

Did I have coffee today? I think not, nothing stronger than a Red Bull.... it's never worked before. Note to self, stop buying Red Bull. Second Note to self, stop typing notes to self.

I remembered the part in Alice in Wonderland where Alice chances upon the Queen's (the one that was simply a card) subjects, who are painting the white rose tree, red - satirical and amusing, reread the book, and if you haven't already got it then go to project gutenberg and read it there:

"Would you tell me, please," said Alice, a little timidly, "why you are painting those roses?".....

So I had to paint and the result was this rather large canvas above.

I have never had a Red Bull. I'm finally of an age where I have generational differences! yeah!

Hey, I *love* your roses painting. It's amazing. Do you sell your art? You should.

Lol, I know how young you are, so please...

Thanks for liking the art, Deirdre. I was in two minds to post the painting. It had been a private art for sometime, apart from when guests come over. I would enjoy a gallery show but I am shy of them, don't know why.

We're painting the roses red; we're painting the roses red....

Sorry, I DID read the book, but I watched the Disney version WAAAYYYY more often, lol. Now you have the song stuck in my head!!

I like your writing....that's one thing I lack in my own blog...real writing. lol

Lol, Disney took well deserved liberties with Carroll's text. It was a wildly creative and very cute take on the story. I remember that song too now and the caterpillar, "whoo are youuuu?"

Hello,
just found your blog while browsing the web, and I really liked it, so I decided to begin reading it from the beginning.

'Alice in Wonderland' is one of my favourites so your blog title was strangely alluring... I was not disappointed.
But now I'm going to continue reading...
